Boldartist is a family-run store with three partners, all veterans of military service who came to appreciate the delight in art , history and literature. Our youngest member, Dan, is the artist and technical expert and the one most in touch with the interests of young people. A humanist and also a historian in training. Dan served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and left service honorably after fulfilling his contract.
Eileen is a therapist currently engaged in treating military personnel. Also, she is working on her doctoral dissertation in History, focussing on Delaware during the Civil War. Eileen is also the author of a book "Dogtown Days", which will be offered for sale this year by Boldartist.
Chris is a highly decorated veteran of the Viet Nam War. After working over 12 years in Washington with the House of Representatives, Chris decided to become a therapist and work with military service members. Currently, he is working with soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. Chris is our networking expert who has been instrumental in obtaining products to interest our consumers.
